Minnieville Road and Old Bridge Road in Woodbridge are vital corridors for the surrounding area and see a notable amount of daily traffic volume. There are also multiple proposed, in development or in construction transportation infrastructure projects surrounding this intersection. The Board of County Supervisors requested this study in March 2025.

Main Goals of the Minnieville and Old Bridge Road Intersection Study

The intent of this study at the Minnieville Road and Old Bridge Road intersection is to:

• Identify the existing needs
• Develop alternative solutions
• Progress a preferred alternative for potential future funding

This intersection study will consist of:

• Collection and review of existing conditions data
• Analysis of existing and future no-build operations conditions
• Evaluation of multiple alternatives in a phased approach
• Public outreach
• Preferred alternative identification
• Reporting
