The plan establishes a data-driven framework to reduce serious injuries and fatalities on county road and prioritizes equity, safe street design and multi-modal access through targeted strategies. -

The county received community input through public meetings, a survey and a traffic safety concerns map completed earlier this year, which helped formulate the draft plan, which includes:
Goals and objectives
Public engagement efforts
Safety analysis
Prioritization of projects
Safety strategies and countermeasures
Policy, progress and performance measures, including recommendations and ongoing local jurisdictional efforts

These sessions will help shape the Countywide Comprehensive Traffic Safety Action Plan, or CTSAP, a strategic initiative to enhance roadway safety for all users.
